Hair + Nails by Ash

Acrylic nails are made by mixing a liquid (monomer) and powder (polymer) to create a paste, which is then applied to the natural nails. We apply tips to create length and then shape them to the desired shape before prepping the nail and applying the acrylic.

If unsure what to book, please contact us at least 48 hours prior. TIER 1: Tier 1 is for basic nail art (up to your nail techs discretion). EX: Basic One Color French, mix of french & solid nails, glitter nail, simple line-work, multiple colors, solid colors with a few charms, one bling nail, or one nail basic art. TIER 2: Tier 2 is basic nail art that is on multiple nails and slightly more detail/time needed to complete (up to your nail techs discretion). EX: ombre, aura, isolated chrome, charms on multiple nails, double french, textured nails, foils, multiple gem or bling nails, simple 3D, etc. TIER 3:Tier 3 is for complicated, mixed element, textures, themed, or character nails. Basically more detail/time/materials needed to complete (up to your nail techs discretion).EX: Detailed art on 3 or more nails, 3D/sculpted arts, lots of texture, Character art, themed, detailed Holiday Art, custom sets. Anything that doesn't fit into the other categories.

Luminary Gel is a buildable hard gel that can be soaked off. It’s slightly softer when applied compared to traditional hard gels but sturdy and great for clients who are rough on their nails, clean alot, have their hands in water, etc. You can get short tips with this product. If you have product on your nails from me or another salon that needs to be removed, or you are switching from another structured gel product; please book a soak off as well.

An acrylic fill is to refill the outgrown area near the cuticle and refresh the set after up to 3 weeks following the initial application. After 3 weeks and every 3rd fill please book a Rebalance service. If you’re missing more than 2 nails book a rebalance even if it’s been less than 3 weeks. If you’re missing more than 3 nails book a soak off and a new set.
